Over more than a decade, Scotland has developed one of the world’s most ambitious approaches to community wealth building, embedding its principles in local economic development practice and, earlier this year, enshrining them in national legislation. This webinar explores what it took to bring community wealth building from the margins to the mainstream — and the possibilities this has opened up within and beyond Scotland. This webinar is the second in the Building a Civic Economy International Learning Series co-hosted by System Shift UK and SI Canada.
This webinar from the Canadian Alliance for Transit-Connected Housing (CATCH) explores how municipalities, planners, and transit and housing partners can work together to grow affordable housing near transit through development on transit agency lands.
